ABOUT THE WORK EXHIBITED

The Mosaic Scape combines my abstract scape in oil pigment with the intricate textures of ceramic mosaic tiles. I have thoroughly enjoyed the seamless merging of soft oil pigment into the tactile beauty of mosaic craftsmanship.

Through the rich interplay of colours and patterns of my scape I have also tried to make the two mediums come together as a harmonious composition.

The use of ceramic mosaic medium is not just purely ornamental frame but it is an essential continuous integral part of my scape in oil paints.

ABOUT NUPUR KUNDU

Nupur Kundu is a highly accomplished artist who specializes in Fine Arts, having earned her degree from the College of Arts, New Delhi, and completed her master's degree at Lucknow University, India. With a rich artistic journey spanning almost 30 years, she has showcased her work through numerous solo and group exhibitions since 1996. Recognized for her outstanding achievements, Nupur Kundu has featured in several notable publications, including The New York Times, Art India magazine, Marg Magazine, and India Today Magazine's 30th Anniversary Issue in 2005, acknowledged as one of 30 young and successful achievers.
